“Fado” won the Dance Audience Award 2014 (Danspublieksprijs) for best performance in The Netherlands. Carla Pires is the fado singer of this performance choreographed by Vasco Wellencamp – a coproduction between Portuguese National Contemporary Ballet and the International Danstheater (Amsterdam) .
